I'm trying to determine if there are any descendants for Richard Harry Weekly. He was born in Harmondsworth, England and migrated to the States. He and his brother Thomas Walter Weekly enlisted in the US army in WW1. Thomas Walter settled and farmed in Missouri. Richard travelled and then seems to have settled in California. He was a cook and worked in oil camps.

I am looking for information on Louise Weekly, born 1838 in Pennsylvania. Her father was born in Ohio and her mother was born in Pennsylvania. Louise married Joseph Fletcher (born 1830 in Virginia) and their first three children Nelson (1858), Emma (1862), and John (1864) were born in Ohio. The next six children were born in Davis County, IA; Myra (1867), Manda (1871), William (1873), Granville (1876), Louise (10-19-1878), and T. J. Thank you!

Robert Adair Weekly was the son of Smith A Weekly and Smith was my mother's first cousin. Smith was married to Laura G (I don't know what her maiden name was but I will try to find out) they had four children Robert A, Dorothy E, Edwin E and Edith M Weekly that I know about. Smith's father was Edmund E Weel;y and married Mary Jane Waterman born in New York, and Edmund's father was William Elze Weekly born in Ky and his mother was Irine Jane Skaggs born in Tenn. I have other information on the Weekly family and am starting to put it together with some others.

Robert Adair Weekly son of Smith and Laura Weekly married Dorothy I. Crocker in San Diego in 1938. Robert (nickname Pat) was killed 10-16-1942 aboard the USS McFarland a supply ship and sea plane tender. The Japanese bombed the ship and he was in the area of the deck that was hit. He was a Gunners Mate 3rd class. He was buried in Tulagi Cemetery #1.

Looking for Glenna Rhoden who married Roy Weekly abt. 1928. They had one child that I know of Raymond Weekly b. abt. 1929. Glenna and son are listed in the 1930 census, in Winfield District, Marion Co. WV. Roy is not listed. This is all I know of either. Any information about any one of these folks would be appreciated.

I am trying to find info on William from before he came to Oregon. William was born 17 May 1812 in Kentucky near Lousiville, and he and Irene lived in Missouri approx. 1842-1855, where some of their children were born.

William was involved with the building of the Coos Bay Wagon Road in Oregon. A book with a short bio of William says that he was the youngest of three children (I wonder if he may not have been counting sibling(s) that may have died early on because that is a small family for that time period). William and Irene are both buried in Gravelford, Oregon.

I would appreciate knowing something about William's family of origin. His father (according to census records that list William's father's birthplace) was born in Pennsylvania and his mother in Virginia.

Would you mind e-mailing me the name of the gentleman from Baton Rouge, also? My grandmother, Ruth Ellen (Weekly) McGowan was born to Joseph Weekly and Rose Bromfield in WVA or Ohio in 1899. Her mother died when she was 5, and she was raised by a maternal aunt (?). She had two brothers, Edward and Paul, and her father remarried and had several more children. Her father lived near Akron, Ohio, at one time as well. I believe she had half-sisters and brothers named Sadie, Lena, Mary, Doek, Harry and Oth. I can't seem to find any info on either the Weekly or Bromfield side. Thanks much!

Elizabeth WEEKLY is my gr-gr-grandmother. She was born 1839 in IN, died there in 1881. She married John M. Bozell (1833-1917) on Jul 8, 1877 in Bartholomew Co., IN. Their children were: Essa May, Josephine, Albert, Kate, John Lincoln, Odis, Cora, Arthur, Thomas and Ada.

Recent information I have been given by Robert's daughter says his name is Robert Adair Weekly and that "Pat" was a nickname. He was the son of Smith A. Weekly and Laura Weekly. He married Dorothy Crocker and they had one daughter. He was killed in the Pacific in WW2.

I know John Thomas Weekly served in the Confederate Army, in the 50th Georgia Regiment, Company I, Berrien Light Infantry. From the family legend, I know he was murdered in north Georgia on his way home from the war after the surrender at Appomattox. Since he never returned from the war and his gravesite is unknown everything about him is sort of a mystery. In case you're wondering I'm the son of Curtis Sheppard, I imagine he was one of your uncles.

I am trying to trace my family tree on my Mother's side.
Mother's name: Ora Catherine Weekly Frers Nichols, d/o/b 8/16/21.
Father's name: Henry Frers d/o/b 10/26/11.
Married: December 1941 in New York State.

Two children, Mary Lou d/o/b 7/27/42 and Betty d/o/b/ 8/13/43 both born in Kingston, New York.

My mother had 2 brothers (Walter and Claude) and 1 sister (Alma). I believe there was a brother who died at a very young age, I don't know his name.

I was adopted in 1947 and have had minimal contact with my Mother's family.

I now live in Arizona and it is very difficult to research any records back in New York in person. I am not having much luck with the Internet either.

If anyone can assist, I would be most greatful.

I am looking for Edward C. Weekly who married Emma Hutchinson 1904 in Wood Co. They had 3 children Charles W. Thair, Gladys Virginia, and Ethel all born after 1908. Edward was the son of William H. and Louisa Weekly. He was a laborer in a lumber mill and living in Parkersburg in 1910. This is all I have on Edward.
