This name is very familiar to me for some reason. I have two sets of Weeks, both of which I am at a brick wall. More of less. One is Levi K Weeks who married 3 times, a Cotton, then Pheobe Yarborough (my line) and a Woods. He was in Newton Co before 1835 as well as my other line Robert and Ann White Weeks, (my second line) then there was Zedock Weeks (who we feel maybe the father or at least close ralative, and a James Weeks who also married a Cotton.

My Robert Weeks named a son of his Haley Madison Weeks who married Nancy Jane Thompson, who was my mom's grandparents. I know that the Weeks were from NC/SC, were in MS and AL and LA before Texas. Believe their father fought in the War of 1812 as the Weeks men were born in 1802/10 time frame.

Email me if anyone has any connection

Hello, I know of no Weeks descendants coming to America from England. The only one is Howard Henley Weeks who came to Halifax around 1900 from England. Thomas Bell Weeks and all the other Weeks clan are from England. With the exception of descendants of Howard who are living in Montreal, Windsor, Ontario and out west in Alberta. I get a few inquiries from people about Weekses living in the U.S.A. which unfortunately I have no knowledge of.

Douglas there is a whole line that came directly to the US from England and they have much of the same names as the one from Canada. It gets very crazy trying to untie the lines when they all have the same names.
Most of them arrived in the US around the very early to mid 1700.

Is this Line from Guilford County, NC? Some of the family went to Indiana, John to Wayne County, IN. The Cotton family was in Guilford County also. All of them seemed to leave around the end of the 18th century, to mid 19th century, to various other states. James Weeks father was William, and mother Susannah Heaton originally from Perquimans, to Bush River, SC, to Guilford County, NC?

I noticed your posting. I'm researching the brothers of the William Weeks you mentioned (Benjamin & Thomas Jr). Do you have any info on them? My line go up to Benjamin Weeks. His daughter, Nancy Ann Weeks married Robert Raper b. 1757. Another daughter, Elizabeth Weeks, married Jesse Simpson. His son, Joseph Wilson Weeks has some land records in early 1800's that mention Jesse Simpson and his sisters. Jesse Simpson & Robert Raper moved to the Wayne/Nash Co., NC area. Thanks
