Services at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul
Ostrem of the
Zion Lutheran Church officiated. Pallbearers were Michael

Weeks and Ian
Watson. Burial was at
Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Weeks was born Aug. 16, 1914, in Loveland,
Colo., the daughter of Jacob and Mary Elizabeth Hergenreder Lichtenwald. Her family moved to Muscatine in 1927. She was united in marriage to Albert Earl
Weeks on Oct. 4, 1930. They were married by Rev. Vernon Schantz in Muscatine.
She was a member of the
Zion Lutheran Church, the VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries, and the Rebecca Lodge. She did volunteer work at the church and the Salvation
Army.
She had been employed by the H. J. Heinz Co., the Celon Co., and she was also a cook at the Franklin,
Colo., and Central
Junior High Schools.
She enjoyed gardening, quilting, and doing Brazilian stitchery. She enjoyed being with her family, of which there were five generations.
She is survived by four sons, Richard

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 65 years, Albert Earl Weeks; one son, Albert Earl Jr.; one daughter, Wilma; and two brothers, Sam and Carl Lichtenwald.
