Townsend Weeks. Townsend was born abt 1817 in
New York [probably in
Dutchess County] and married Catherine
Brooks in 1843, daughter of John
Brooks of Sophiasburg,
Prince Edward County, Ont. Catherine was born abt 1823 in
Prince Edward Co, Ont and died June 1870 in Cramahe Twp,
Northumberland Co, Ont. Sometime after her death
Townsend and his children moved to Attica Twp,
Lapeer Co,
Michigan. He died possibly abt 1895-96 in
Clare Co,
Michigan [?]. Townsend and Catherine had 8 children: Adna [?] b abt 1843;
Levi b 10 January 1848 and d 24 July 1875 and is buried in
Castleton,
Northumberland Co, Ont; Edward b abt 1850; Isaac A. b abt 1854; Catherine b abt 1857; John Wesley [my husband's g-grandfather] b 26 October 1859 in
Kingston,
Frontenac Co, Ont [according to his death record] and d 22 September 1933 in Detroit,
Wayne Co,
Michigan - m Mary Elizabeth
Seibert 29 May 1885; James F. b 30 May 1862 and d 30 December 1884 in Attica Twp,
Lapeer Co, Michigan; and Eleanor [?]
Who are Townsend's parents? Isaac or Samuel or
