Salome Weston

I've found a grandmother, named Salome Weston born 1799ish in Vermont, but I can't find any background on her - or her husbands name.

Since her son is Benjamin Weston, I'm thinking thats probably her married name, but the only other Salome Weston I can find - Weston is her maiden name. (Which I know is entirely possible.)

Anyone have any information I might use?

Ethel Weston, 'Ethel' may or may not be her first name (possibly middle name?). She was also referred to as 'Effie'. 'Weston' may or may not be spelled correctly. She possibly was born in Pennsylvania. Am assuming she was born around 1874 (+/- some years) as she was my great grandmother and gave birth to 2 children in Honesdale, Pennsylvania in 1894 and 1895 respectively. I have a photo of her which was taken in Chicago, Illinois. No other information, not even marriage date although she was supposedly married to John Gates Gerry.

I don't know who James David Weston's parents are. His wife's name is Hulda Delina. THey had a son Albert Harrison Weston born in 1860. Here is Albert's info Albert Harrison Weston b. 6-27-1860 – d.5-5-1951 married Amanda Rosanna Ella Ada Russell b. 1864 – d. 1946. therefore I am assuming that James and Hulda were born in about 1830s-1840s.

Thanks for the offer. The names that I am searching for are James David Weston, husband to Hulda Delina. They have a son named Albert Harrison Weston, I have that information, but on his parents, not so much. So far I just found that they were married, but no dates.
(well I can't check member's trees as I don't pay the monthly fee-already broke hahaha).

Anyway, I really don't mind helping others when I can.

They had a son name Albert Harrison Weston who married Amanda Russell. They had a son whose name was Clarence Elmer Weston, Sr (my grandfather).

Hi I am trying to find information on James Weston, father of Albert Harrison Weston, who in turn was the father of Clarence E. Weston Sr. b 4-10-1892 d. 3/1983
Clarence married Alice May Chapman in 4-1916, Alice b.4-16-1900-died 2 1944.
Clarence's parents: dad Albert Harrison Weston 6-27-1860 – 5-5-1951. His mother Amanda Rosanna Ella Ada Russell 1864 – 1946. Her parents Mathew Blaine Russell b. 1832; Sarah Margaret Russell

All I could find on James is a spouse by the name of Hulda Delina but no dates.

The W in my name stands for Weston. My husband is William Bunker Weston Jr, son of WBW and grandson of Benjamin Frank Weston. He is the Weston, but I do the research. I am in search of any info on my gr.gr.grandmother.her name was Caroline(Carolyn)Weston.
She married a man named John B. Trent(my gr.gr. grandfather) and they had a child named Harry (my gr.grandfather).
According to a few bits of info.,Harry may have been born in Vermont,Virginia, or Indiana.
According to an obit of Harry's he was born in 1866 in Indiana and his mother Caroline died in 1868.
If anyone out there has any info on this Caroline it would be appreciated.

My mother was/is a Weston. She went back to her maiden name after a divorce. Her name is Mary Alice. Her mother's name is Alice May Chapman. she died in 1944. Her father's name is/was Clarence Elmer Weston he died in 1983.
There aren't many of my mother's siblings living, to my knowledge. I think 2 of her brothers may still be alive, James, Oliver, and Harry.

If you don't mind my asking, which Weston are you married to?

My maternal grandparents were Clarence Elmer Weston, Alice May Chapman. She died 2-1944 breast cancer is what I understand. Alice was born in 1900, married 4-1916 to Clarence. They lived in pa.
Her parents names was Alexander CHAPMAN b: 29 Dec 1852 Died: 15 Oct 1911 PA, Mother: Eliza Margaret HOLLOBAUGH b: 27 SEP 1860 in Pennsylvania d. 11-4-1946V Chapman, Eliza Margaret Hollobaugh.
His parents Albert Harrison Weston 1860 – 1951 his mom Amanda Rosanna Russell 1864 – 1946

Clarence and Alice had about 13 kids.
I am missing info on Harry, James, Oliver Weston. I am also missing info on Sylena, Phoebe Chapman siblings of Alice.
I know Alice's sister Mabel Blanche Chapman married Oliver London. They adopted a daughter Sarah London. But I can't find her either.
Therefore, any information would be greatly appreciated.

I do think the Curtis and Jane Weston on the 1910 census in Indiana County are yours. Curtis could have been listed on the Indiana County 1910 census that was taken in the spring/summer, then died in December and then taken back to Cambria County to be buried. The listing of his burial at the Union/Salem cemetery lists his wife as A. Jane Weston-Sickenberger.

His father was James Joseph WESTON and mother was Donella REFSHANGE they married in 1930.
In the 1954 Australian Electoral Roll Barry George WESTON was a Chemist.

I am looking for information on my ancestors from England who lived on Staten Island in late 1800s: Thomas Weston and his wife Hannah (both born in England c.1810), and their daughters Harriet and Louisa (who was b. 1853 in New York; she was married first to someone with last name Fernando; then second marriage to James Goodlow). I found them in US Census 1870 & 1880, but don't know much more than that. Louise was my grandmother's grandmother. Her daughter Anne (Fernando Goodlow) married a Zorovich.

The 29Jan1892 Tifton (GA) Gazette newspaper lists a tragic story regarding Stephen Weston of Westonia (GA). In short, Stephen Weston accidentally shot one of his sons. The article indicates Stephen Weston is a nephew of Capt. S. R. Weston, of Albany (GA), and he's also a cousin of Mr. Jesse D. Weston.
