Seek family of Thompson Whittaker, b. Halifax 1855
In 1881 my greatgrandfather's family stayed with Thompson and Mary Whittaker in Northowram just before coming to America. Thompson came later (about 1907) and lived in East Falls (a Philadelphia neighborhood) PA, was naturalized in 1915. In June of 19l5 he applied for an emergency passport to go to Australia. Thompson and Mary had a daughter, Venetta. I am hoping to find any descendants who can tell me the relationship between Thompson, who was about 30 years older than my great grandfather, Robert Whittaker.
