My great grandmother was Gertrude Douglas Wilkenson from Magnolia MA. I am working on a family tree and am stuck here.

Looking for information regarding wife and children of John Wilkenson of Albemarle County, VA. John is mentioned in the will of Laurance Suddarth in 1807. A James Wilkenson shows up in 1810 in Casey Co., KY near Laurence's probable daughter, Patience Suddarth. Interested in whether John had a child named James and if the Wilkensons and Suddarths may have migrated to Kentucvky together. Thank you.

I misunderstood you the first time. Your grandfather was Herbert Ray Wilkinson, also a brother of my grandmother Lena. Herbert was born on 12 June 1895 and died on 20 Feb 1987. According to my records, he married Carolyn Graves (no date). My records indicate that they had 7 children, the fourth of which was Lucille. My records indicate that she married a Mr. Patrick who must be your father-in-law. My records on this branch go no further.

I am afraid I have not gotten any further with my research on the Wilkinson's but have you seen the posts from Eric Koch? He seems to have some info about the older Parker Wilkinson. I would love to know where in Vermont they were located so I can continue looking.

So glad to hear from you! Newell Wilkinson was my husband's great grandfather. Newell's son Raymond Herbert was my husband's grandfather on his maternal side. So it goes --> Newell Wilkinson --> Raymond Wilkinson --> Lucille Wilkinson (married Howard Patrick, my father -in law. I don't have a current membership to ancestry.com as I am a teacher and work on geneaology in the summer.

I saw your post and would be interested in sharing information on the Wilkinsons. I am a great great grandson of Parker B. Wilkinson (Parker Jr.), and my mother has accumulated some information regarding Parker B. Wilkinson. As I have mentioned in a separate recent post, one item which she accumulated is a copy of an indenture for the transfer of land in Fenner from Richard and Polly Somerson to Parker Wilkinson on 17 February 1825, which must have been the Parker Wilkinson Sr. mentioned in the original post by EllenPatrick77 to which you had responded.

I am curious as to whether you have made any further progress regarding Parker Wilkinson Sr. and as to your source indicating that Parker B Wilkinson (Parker Jr.) was the son of Parker Sr. I am a great great grandson of Parker B. Wilkinson (Parker Jr.). My mother has accumulated some information regarding Parker B. Wilkinson. One item is a copy of an indenture for the transfer of land in Fenner from Richard and Polly Somerson to Parker Wilkinson on 17 February 1825. Since Parker Jr. was born in April 1837, the Parker in question must be Parker Sr. I would be pleased to share what information I have regarding Parker Jr.

This address will take you to the 1880 census that shows your grandfather's family when he was a child. Note that his grandfather was born in Vermont. I am having no luck finding any info about him.

I was so happy to see your reply. I just found your response as I wasn't sure where to look. I am sure you have more Wilkinson information than I do as I have just started my search in the past several months and am still learning how to find info and where to look for it. My mother was the youngest child of Newell "Earl" Wilkinson. My grandfather pasted away from cancer when I was a child so I don't have much info pertaining to that side of my family and am very interested in learning more. I have used the IGI and Ancestry.oom to try to find the roots of the Wilkinsons. I get back as far as Parker Wilkinson, who was married to Mary S. Douglas. I see by records that he was originally from Vermont, his father was also named Parker Wilkinson, and that he fought in the Civil War- there is record of Mary receiving his pension. But that's as far as I can get. I have not been able to find record of them in Vermont.
My records show your grandfather as being the youngest of the Wilkinson children, born May 14, 1915.
It would be wonderful to trade info, though I don't have much. I'd love to hear more from you!

I don't have much info but I do believe you and I may be related. My grandfather was Newell Earl Wilkinson brother of Herbert Ray Wilkinson which I believe was your grandfather. Is this correct? My mother was Marie Lynette Wilkinson youngest daughter of Newell Earl Wilkinson and Carolyn Loise Howard. My grandfather died when I was young and I don't know much about the Wilkinson side of my family any info would be most helpful to me. If we are related perhaps I have some info that would be helpful as well. I look forward to hearing from you

I am looking for relatives of Robert Wilkinson. I think that he lived in Trumansburg, NY around 1963. He had a daughter Emily. My husband and I went to lots of Estate Sales during the last 20 years. I am looking for any family members, or descendants, of JESSE WILKESON (WILKENSON-WILKERSON) and LAVINA PATTERSON, who married on December 23, 1875, in Richland County, Illinois.
Lavina is the daughter of JOHN WILLIAM "SPLITFOOT" PATTERSON and ELIZABETH "BETSY" NASH. It is unknown who the parents of Jesse are. On their Marriage RECORD, his surname is spelled as WILKESON.

This family may have moved into Missouri, but I am not sure. I believe that they lived in Noble Township, Richland County, Illinois, at the time of their marriage.

Hi, I noticed your query about Wilkinsons in Blount Co. Tn. Maryville, Tn is in Blount County and there is a cemetery located at 2511 Wilkinson Pike, Maryville, Tenn. In that cemetery there are gravestones for 4 Wilkinsons.

The groundskeeper was not there and there wasn't a board available so I don't know if there are any other Wilkinsons that don't have stones. As far as I know these are not related to me but I wrote them down just in case when I started my research.

Joseph Jackson, Wilkenson, Hannah. although I have many dates of birth and a very few children of some of the children, I know little more of this branch of our tree and could use any help.
Edmund disappeared and we are not sure about anything about him beyond his name, christening date and parentage.

I'm looking for a James Tarlton Wilkinson that was born in Kaufman Texas and died in 1952.
He married Goldie May Anderson and she was born May 16 1906.
I am guessing that James T was born before 1906
They had 3 children
Jo Marie Wilkinson born Oct 4, 1929
Estelle Wilkinson born Sept 26, 1927

At some point James and Goldie divorced and James married a Gertrude and they lived in San Antonio until his death.

I know nothing more about him.
