It deals with a sale of land that had been bequeathed to the children and heirs of Christian and Barbara Metz. Barbara Metz is identified as the sister of Christian Martin. The bequest was from Christian Martin. The indenture is dated 15 Nov 1864. Among the heirs was David Metz of Tifflin, Seneca County, Ohio, and Mary his wife. They both personally appeared in Seneca County to acknowledge the document 21 Nov 1864.

I don't know if this is the David Metz you are looking for, and I have no information from this document about his children.
My grandfather was James M. Willow s/o Wilson K. Willow and Mary Waterhouse (2nd wife, 1st Orpha). James never knew his father and our family has never met a Willow relative. I've been searching for info on Wilson but haven't had too much luck. We don't even know how or exactly when he died (about 1919). Since Wilson's parents were Carpenter and Ann, I'm hoping someone here can help.

I realize this is quite an old post but I hope it is recieved. I have actually just begun trying to put together as much of my family tree as possible.

Walter Eivens is the half-brother of my great-grandfather, Albert McNuel Eivens.

I am interested in knowing what, if anything, you have found out in your search for your family. If you haven't already, you can find most of the Eivens family tree at http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/e/i/v/Ellis-M-Eiv... Unfortunately, it does not list Arleen as being married, nor the list of her children. Shoot me an email at mistymosher30@yahoo.com

Dan,

Thanks for the response. I have about 10 typed pages of info on the Willow Family. It consists of newspaper and census documentation. On glich that I need to work out you can probably help with. According to a newspaper account Charles Willow, son of Charles and Anna Willow married a Doris Fryer. They had sons Joseph and Lester. Is this correct or did he marry twice.

Information that I have is in a database that can be transferred as a GEDCOM file and opened software such as Ancestry or Family Tree. Can also send it as a Microsoft Word document which will be about 10 pages long.

Paul

Shonna,

Thanks for the response! In regard to my 2nd great grandfather's youngest daughter, Anna A. (Bennett) Willow, kindly check the 1900 census, image 4, line 86 - 97 for Ward 4 of Clinton County, Lock Haven for a friendly amendment to the number of children Anna had.

There is much information to be shared. I have references to many articles in Lock Haven papers and combed the census. I am looking forward to sharing what I have obtained. In the meantime could you help me with one item? I have that Charles E. Willow married Doris Fryer, Lock Haven newspaper, and had two children. Is that correct. The in the 1930 census find him married to a Verna in Burnham, Mifflin Co. PA. Is this a second marriage???

Paul

Charolette,

Many thanks for your response to my posting on the Willows of Central PA. A Harvey W. Willow was born to that line April 1887. His mother Anna/Annie was the youngest daughter of my second great grandparents Jacob and Lucretia (???) Bennett. Annie was one of the eleven children born to Jacob and Lucretia. She married Charles Carpenter Willow. Other information is available on both families and I am willing to share the information that I have. My information is in two genealogy programs, ANCESTRY FAMILY TREE and FAMILY TREE MAKER, and it is easier to share it as such.

Would be interested in knowing more about your branch of the Willows. Please contact me at pwbennett @ yahoo.com if you need more information on the Willows.
