Luckily you don't have to be in ANCESTRY.COM to see trees - anyone who is sent an invite can see it, comment on it, print it and (I think) other things too. I don't think they can upload photos though.

Thank you so much for replying!
I remember a bit of a kerfuffle a few months ago with someone who insisted that FRANK WILLS came from Devon because they'd found one married to a LOUISE in an English census. They hadn't checked to find her maiden name and couldn't believe that LOUISE SANDERSON was born in India! After I sent them the relevant paperwork they rather begrudgingly believed me and I noticed that other trees were slowly falling in line with mine.
Do you think that if I sent Margaret my tree she would be able to work out her connection to that and put comments in peoples' boxes to give me her info.? I think that would save her a lot of typing.

Based on what you have stated here, you and I are definitely related. Maury Wills is my grandfather's 2nd cousin as their grandfathers were brothers. This means Maury is my 2nd cousin twice removed. I am a direct decendant of Thomas and Lillie Wills. They had 3 children (Winfield, Rebecca, and Nannie). Rebecca and Nannie married 2 brothers both last name Booth and Winfield died young.

sorry - one question. i see that you have margaret hines listed as sarah jane's mother (in your first post). i show margaret ennis (lived w/the family as shown in the 1860 census record that you have listed)was her mother and joseph wills was her father. joseph wills' parents were joseph crandall wills and margaret hinds (could this be the margaret you have listed?)

great! that's what i have as well. so, your great grandmother is my great great grandmother. frank buck came to louisiana and married mary jane josephine (jenny) edwards. they had two girls - annie (my great grandmother) and estelle. have you traced back much on your great grandmother's siblings? i've been working on this for about two years now.

Hello:

I was looking through the Wills thread and found your posting on Benjamin Wills, Sr.

I believe that Fred Wills is the "Uncle Fred" that my mother spoke of so often. I believe his wife was "Aunt Em."
Fred was my great uncle and the brother of my grandmother, Mary Ann Wills Harris.

I visited them at their retirement home in Austin sometime in the 1960's.

I have an original 5”x7” photograph of “Harold Wills, class of 1918”, which I’d like to get back to descendants or family members. Photo was taken in South Bend (St. Joseph Co.) IN.

I found Harold Wills with his parents in the 1910 & 1920 censuses for So. Bend, IN, showing him as 10 in 1910 and 19 in 1920, son of Samuel J. and Cora E. Wills.

Does anyone have any information regarding Thomas Wills born in 1672 or even his Father, Richard Wills and Mother Amy Wills (married name)?

I believe they were born in Poole, but have no supporting evidence.

I also have Robert Wills 1675 and Richard Wills 1671 as his brothers (Thomas Wills being my direct ancestor (who married Ursula Hart)

So far, we have managed to trace back as far as Francis and Amy Wills from around the mid 1600's down to my most recent relatives. Would be really interested to know more about other branches of the tree.
