Born Nov 11,1879 New York Died Sept 16 1949. Married: Lula Mae Cohoe Oct 2 1899 Children: Helen Norma and Lloyd Russell Sr. Oswald was an orphan in New York. At a young age was placed on a wagon westward. Was taken in by a family in Ill. James T Cogan. farmer and irish immigrant, devout Catholic. Oswald spoke a foreign language, not known but possibly German was tutored in English. I do not know what orphanage in NY. Probably a catholic church orphanage.
