I'm still searching for information about my Grandfather Walter Dewey Warsham. From SSI records I can see that he was born in 1924 in ALA. and died in 1991 in MO. I would love to know if anyone has any information on him at all, including where he was burried, rather he remarried after leaving my Grandmother and if we have any more family out there. Hi, my family is the east texas worshams, Id lovew to find A FAMILY TREE. I am missing some info. Nannie L. Worsham was my grandmother. Her father was Stephen Oliver Worsham, I think his was Virgil who was married to Lillie and that fits due to my Aunt Lillians name. The two prior I get confused on. I am trying to locate a Vietnam veteran named William H. Worsham Jr. JPAC (Joint POW/MIA Accounting Commission) was given about 1400 dog tags purchased by an American tourist in Vietnam. I am volunteering in the search to reunite the dog tags with the veterans or their families. If you have a relative by the name of William H. Worsham Jr. who served in Vietnam, they can contact JPAC and verify the information on the tag. The tag will be sent home for no charge. I'm looking for information on a Lourany Riley or Lourany Worsham born about 1812. Her maiden name is possibly Worsham, daughter of Jeremiah Worsham. She also had a son named Benjamin Riley who married a Mary Ann. Though they lived in Georgia she could have remarried and widowed in North Carolina. This is what I know so far:

1880 - Luremia Riley (68) - living w/ son Benjamin Riley
1870 - Lourany Worsham (55) - living w/ son Benjamin
1860 - Luremia Riley (47) - living w/ son Benjamin
1850 - Lourana Worsham (30) living w/ Jeremiah Worsham (80) & son Benjamin Riley (16)
1847 - Lurany Worsham marries Cooper Bennett

In 1880 it's stated that Benjamins father was from NC, and Lourana's mother/father were from NC also that she was widowed. I'm trying to find out who is the father of Benjamin Riley, as well as information on Jeremiah.

I believe that SARAH SABRINA/SABINA WORSHAM are one and the same. There is a daughter SARAH who seems to fit this timeframe that goes to the original immigrant ancestor, WILLIAM WORSHAM and ELIZABETH LITTLEBERRY of Henrico Co., VA. There is a WORSHAM genealogy that is available from the Prince Edward Historical Society for sale, but they do not have who her parents were. I have a copy of the CD done by DR. JOHN W. PRICHETT called "Southside Virginia Genealogies". He has many of these same families in his own lineage and is a retired historian. He also has a website - wwww. virginians.com Go to the top of the toolbar, and click on INDEX, then go to the W's and find all the W surnames he has listed, WORSHAMS included. He also has the ELLINGTON line as well as the DICKERSON and FOWKLES and PULLIAM lines all intermarried and connected.
His information about SABINA has her living in Prince Edward Co., VA, describes where their plantation was located. I believe she went by her nickname, hence the confusion. The earlier one born in 1685 is connected to the earlier JOHN ELLINGTON, born 1690. Hope this helps a lot.

The names of Catherine's children matches my list. Arianna, (not Ava) as listed on the census. She was my maternal grandmother. Edna died Sept. 1983. I haven't gotten a death date yet for James and the others.

You are a wonder...thank you so much...I have been searching for info on my paternal grandfather for 20+ years...I was told his name was Vernon Julian and that he was born in Washington State so your info is very much appreciated...can you direct me were to find/search for more info on my aunts Mrs. Dudley and Green?
