He is buried in Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Section 17, in Paterson, New Jersey. His wife's name is Bessie S. Worthen and there are five children who died young buried with their parents. Photos are included.

Section 17 is where some very rich Paterson residents are buried.

Hello, Barbara!

The marriage license .jpg offer was made in 2003 when I had a computer that could read and record on diskettes but not on CDs or DVDs...and the computer that I now have reads CDs and DVDs but not diskettes. Somehow I seem to have not transferred some of the marriage license scans from diskettes to CDs and unfortunately Isaiah's seems to have been one of them. So, I no longer have that image.

I am researching Roy WORTHING b. Sep 1901 in Massac Co., Il. His parents were James William WORTHING and Larena E. DEJERNETT; married in Massac Co., IL 9/3/1897. James's parents were Isaiah Worthen and Martha Dean. Larena's parents were Harry Dejernett and Mary Poe. If you are interested in this line please let me hear from you. Looking for husband of Lucinda Worthing

I believe John Crawford was the husband of Lucinda Worthing. On her headstone in Potsdam, NY is the inscription, "Wife of John Crawford."

Lucinda was born in 1811 and her father was Nathan Worthing who was born in 17788 in New Hampshire. Lucinda had two children, Morrell and Emily Crawford. They lived primarily in the St Lawrence County area of NY, but I am struggling to learn more about John Crawford. Your help would be appreciated. Many thanks.

I have just made a connection to Lionel Worthing. His father
was Seth Worthing who was born in 1868 in Magnolia Township to Frank and Ellen or Helen (she went by Frances in the family) Cain according to the Rock County, Wisconsin
Cenus of 1870. Frank or Franklin was the son of Nathan
and Rebecca Hall Worthen from Maine. Nathan's father was
Isaac and Judith Currier Worthen also of Maine. Do you have any information on Seth Worthing, I know he ended up in Michigan at the same time his uncle Lorenzo and Alzono Worthing was living in Michigan. I am working with a Cain family member to get the Seth mother's name varified.

I'm not directly descended through Winthrop, his wife Abigail is my 4th great grand aunt. I'm pretty much stuck on my direct lines so I've been branching out on my extended lines. I would be appreciative of any info you could share on thier descendants and likewise I'll share what I have. Do you have a picture of Winthrop's gravestone? I have a picture I took when I visited the cemetery in Franklin, MI. I went looking for one grave and found many other relatives buried nearby..

My grandfather was born in worthing in about 1920 under the name of Carlyle-Smith he was one of about 14 children however he joined the fight in world war 2 and when it ended he got stationed in Gloucestershire where he married and settled some where over the years he changed the spelling of our name to Carlisle-Smith i believe i still have family in Worthing although i have never met them one of his brothers Desmond is now living in Hull can anybody help me start to put my puzzle together ? if you can please contact me

We Have been researching Richard Worthing born 1800 in Wales who came out to Australia as a convict in about 1821. Is this your Richard ? If so e-mail me, I have lots of info on what happened to him once he arrived in Aust. I am trying to find out who his parents are - can you help?

My research has ended with my great, great grandfather, Thomas Worthing. He married May Hanley on March 20, 1858 at the Parish Church in Aberedw, Wales. My best guess in that his parents were also named Thomas and Mary who lived in Aberedw, Wales around 1830 when my great, great grandfather was born.

My attempts to trace further are probably in vain; however, any help would be sincerely appreciated.
