Looking for documentation that Thomas WRIGHT and wife Anne LIGHT were on the first wagon train to cross northwest over the Cascade Mountains to Tacoma, WASHINGTON area, 1853, with James LONGMIRE party. Do you know where to find a list of the families in that wagon train?
Also, looking for ancestry of Thomas WRIGHT.
Thomas and Anne LIGHT were married in Owen County, IN. Her family had come from SC to KY to Harrison County, IN, then to Owen County, IN. Where did Thomas WRIGHT come from?
The LIGHT genealogy is well researched, and can be shared.

The memoir of James Longmire mentions A E Light -- possibly a relative of Anna. This can be read at:

The Naches Pass Monument includes the names Light and Wright.

And a book can be viewed and downloaded from Google Books that lists the names, including the children of Thomas and Anna, but I think they were listed as Grandfather and Grandmother Wright, and not by name.
