Looking for information on / descendants of James Wright who lived in Brighton in the 1910s. Known to have lived in Monpelier Street, Centurion Road and Buckingham Place.

In particular I would like to find out what happened to his children. Some settled in West Ham (George, Ellen, Hannah Maria, James) but the younger ones stayed in the Brighton area (Rosina, Arthur). The family were builders/stonemasons.

Do you have any other surnames associated with your Wright's. If so what are they? and who are they, where were they from. If married to whom.?

I have Wright, with associated surnames of Nichol, Littell, Taylor, Gibbons.

Hi Barbara,

The Wrights who married in the West Ham area married into the following families: Rawles, Roberts, Nelham and Ingram -plus there are a couple of children who I haven't been able to trace (Alfred and Hannah Maria).

There were 2 childen living in Brighton in 1901 - one I now know never married and the other was Arthur who I can find no trace of after the 1901 census. Unfortunately the names you mention I have not come across. Best wishes Alison
