Hmmm, Jeff, you might have something there. I'll have to find what info I have and sort through it to see if I remembered to put down William's siblings. Story is that when William
Wright and Emma (
Cooksey) were divorced and ha no longer lived in the house (he was a boarder there on the 1900 or 1910 census, forget exactly which I saw) Emma would walk down the street with my Aunt Phyllis and totally ignore William if she saw him. Mother has no idea about any brothers for him, so much dig further into censusii.
Oh, a tidbit I got from another genealogy-phile--when getting records, see if you can get the marriage application as well as the license. She says there's much more info on there. Also, might want to see about contacting State Libraries vs. historical societies in any given state (for those that don't know). Much of the same info and usually less cost. Just a little info for folks like me that are always needing to either be reminded or told these little details.
