I need help!!!! Does anyone have information on Robert G. (Greenberry) Wright b)1858 GA? I know that he was living in his brother's, Munro (Monroe), household in 1880, that he married Arabel Bush July 1881 in Terrell County, GA and that they had at least four children.

Robert G. (Greenberry) son's were Robert "Bob" and George. Both of them were born in Georiga circa 1883-1896. They were in Washington County, Florida in the early 1900s. Robert "Bob" and George Wright were alive in the late 1950s or early 1960s. I think they lived in the Bonifay/Chipley area of Florida. At least one of them had children and grandchildren; however, I don't know any of their names. I have a picture of either Bob or George Wright with a young lady and a young man (possibly a daughter/son-in-law, son/daughter-in-law or daughter and son) and two small children (boy about 6 yrs and girl about 3 yrs ?). Another picture has two young men (looks to be age 25-30) with a very cute girl (?maybe 3-4 years old) standing by a late 1940 or early 1950 4 door car. I can't tell the make of the car but could possibly be a Pontiac.

Can someone please help me? NantNant1@aol.com Thank you.

I appreciate your response. I have also found the family in the 1870 and 1880 Terrell County Georgia Census.

I'm still searching for a living descendant (grandchild, great grandchild or perhaps gggrandchild) of Robert G. (Green/Greenberry) Wright from one or both of his sons - Robert "Bob" and/or George Wright.

Thanks again for your help.

Do you have them on the 1900-10-20-30 census? I can help with that too.

Robert G. (Green/Greenberry) Wright's family is listed as "Absentee" in the 1900 Washington County, Florida Census. I have the 1910 and 1920 Census records but have not been sucessful in locating him in the 1930 Census.

Robert G.'s sons, Robert "Bob" and George, both were married and in their own households in 1910. Ancestry.com shows Bob Wright in Holmes County, Florida in 1920 but the actual census image is "unavailabe." The 1920 Census record would probably list Bob's wife and children, ages, etc. I have search the 1930 Census but have not found a Robert/"Bob" Wright that I think is the son of Robert G. Wright.

I don't have any information concerning George Wright after the 1910 FL Census.

I would really appreciate any help and/or information you have concerning the Wright family.

Thank you so much for your response.

Sorry to be so late to respond to your post. I wasn't alerted of your reply. I would be delighted to share my info with you! I still have a lot of unanswered questions but have gradually filled in some of the blanks through the years! Robert Greenberry Wright was my great-grandfather.

Robert Greenberry Wright was my great-grandfather's brother -- Marion Alexander Wright. It took me YEARS to find his family in Terrell Co., GA.

Found a will from their father Robert Wright in the Terrell Co. GA deeds and a probate record in 1868 signed off by son John Monroe Wright. (I notice the absence of Sarah or oldest son Calvin Wiley in other documents. Perhaps they, too, are deceased by 1868?)

Marion Alexander Wright sold his share of the property to John Monroe -- and went to Dalton, GA. He married a McCurdy (who was related to the McCurdy who also married a brother of Arra Belle Bush).

John Monroe and the other desc. sold their property to a Wm W Kirksey in Nov. of 1881.

From there, I've lost track of them.

I know that they had a sister named Amanda (Manda) Ann as well as a Samantha and Mary (Mollie). Not sure if Samantha and Mary are the same person.

Can't get further back than Robert E. Wright (the father) and Sarah ? b. in NC.

Would be happy to share with you what I've found.
