Took a look through your webpage and came across you on another DNA site - I haven't looked too much into using DNA as a genealogical tool, although it does appear to be interesting and would be a surefire way of finding a link.

I am from the Cecil Osgood Wynder line (Edith's younger brother) - in fact he's my Great Grandfather. On Edith's line I've basically gathered what I could through the LDS Church's records. I've some dates and children names. If you are interested in swapping/sharing this info, you can email me at paella@cablerocket.com ...or post here if you prefer. If you're interested in looking at Cecil's line through to their parents and on back, I can give you what I can...again, a lot of it is through LDS - however, I have had my Grandmother and Aunt confirm some of the information - I have no copies of original documents at this point...so I'm relying heavily on accurate reporting at the LDS Church.

Well, as far as my information, I don't have anything too solid - I have the same dates and places that you have listed and also have her husband's name listed as Henry William Meredith - however, I gathered this info through their ancestral file at the LDS Church.

I have not been successful tracking Meredith's information beyond him at this point. Through LDS I have Harriet Ann Wynder's parents listed as:

Father: Richard Wynder, b: Abt 1792, Lydd, Kent, England; d: June 27, 1881 - Buckland, Dover, Kent, Eng.

Mother: Ann, b: Abt. 1795, St. Margaret At Cliff, Kent, Eng.; d: Feb 24, 1881 - Charlton Green, Charlton, Dover, Kent, Eng

Marriage: Abt. 1818 - St. Mary, Dover, kent, England

Our genetic Winder / Winders / Winter / Winters surname project, based on DNA tests, now has 9 members with 7 test kits returned so far. I come from the line of Edith Wynder b. 18 May, 1885 in SLC Utah. I have a little information on her line.

In my records it shows that she was born in 1832 in Dover, Kent, England and she died March 1895. I have found one record of her husband. His name may have been Henry William Meredith b. about 1830. If you have any info about him and his parents that would be great. I would love to help you with anything that I can.
