I am a great-grandson of Mary Melissa Swartz, the daughter of whomever turns out to be her parents. I am conflicted with either William, Ernest, or William Ernest Swartz as her father and either Eunice Evelyn Stanton, Yonker, or Youker as her mother (do the Yonker and Youker options include an "s" on the end of the name?

Are you related and needing help with the family tree? I am related and look forward to meeting "cousins," especially those who are actively helping with the research on this family. I am not interested in tracing down the present generations, as much as I am pushing back the previous generations, and this family has been quite difficult to push back. I have hired a professional genealogist in Canada, and the "going" has been slow, to say the least, which makes it quite expensive.
Thanks so much.

Micheal Yonkers son of Darlene Yonkers. Aunt Lorraine and Dawna Yonkers Long Beach, CA

Micheal Yonkers from Long Beach--this message is being left in case you see it one day. This is Cameron-Ashley Heath, the lady who took care of you as an infant to 4+ yrs of age and turned you over legally to your aunt Lorraine Yonkers after your mother Darlene Yonkers died in San Diego. I turned over all the photographs I took of you from 0-4 1/2 or so to your Aunt Lori so that you would have them when you got older. Would love to hear how things worked out for you and reconnect to talk now that you are older. Your Aunt Dawna Yonkers Mosqueda did not know she was adopted--but during the time I was raising you I found her birth mother and put her in touch with her family, for which she thanked me. I've thought of you many many times over the years but I moved out of California and lost track of the family. You were an extremely bright young boy and I have many great memories of your early childhood.

I have seen quite a few family trees with this couple listed. Eunice Evelyn Yonkers was not a "Yonkers." Her step-father's surname was Youker. Her actually maiden name was "Stanton."

Marcel was a carpenter and possibly a shipbuilder, all his sons were carperters and shipbuilders, they had a shipyard on the Hudson River, they specialized in shaping keels from logs with adz and axe. we have assumed this was something from the old country

two of maries brothers, william and gustauv were working in the western Canada wheat fields as teamsters, at the end of harvest 1916 they parted, william comming home to Yonkers NY and Gustave on to Calif, not to be heard from until he past away in 1960 something, just a phone call from his wife with no additional information, do you know of any contact?

Maries other brother suvenier(spelling?) lived with her on the farm in Vt until his death. I therfor assume she may have had contact with gustave.

Her life with ellwood moss is not known we do not know where they lived, is june the only daughter?

I also had another half sister who recently passed on. It took me almost 2 yrs to trace them down. If you wish any info. you can contact me by E. mail or phone, however I live in Southern California and that my be expensive. In any case my phone # is 909 685 9477. I will be talking with my half sister within the next week, she is comming up on 85 yrs, and I don't upset her too much. Do you know all or any of this ?
Ellwood Moss ( Al )

Hi there! I'm looking to weed through my grandfathers life and family line. He refused to talk about his family at all, so all we have is what my grandma knows. He was one of 13 children adopted out because his father couldn't provide for them. They were apparently adopted out separately. He was adopted by the Westrick family. His real parents were George Yonkers and Minnie Croy both born in Carson City, Michigan. This is all we have. My grandfathers name was Roswell George Westrick (Yonkers). thank you for any help at all.
