Hello, my name is Robin Hastings and I am researching my family, which is Barrett (Irish) on my father's side and Ostrowski (Canada-Sask./Polish) on my mother's side. My mother's side seems to be related to your side via John Deneka, who married my grandfather's sister, Caroline A. Ostrowski. John and Caroline were married in Poland, came to Krydor and surrounding areas in Saskatchewan, Canada and then settle in and around Michigan. Would you be willing to commuicate further?

I think joseph zuck of poplar bluff was my gggrandfather. If im correct then my grandfather recently gave me his fishing tackle box, with a brass nameplate that says his name and poplar bluff mo. On it. My grandfather and I still live in mo. But north of poplar bluff. My grandfather could maybe be of some help

I am a descendent from Samuel Zuck who immigrated from
Choreva, Grodno russia (previously owned by Poland).
Samuel born sept l5, 1888 wife mary semonova also born
in Grodno.

You may want to also research the name, Ulrich Zug. There are two different branches with this name. One IS from Germany and the one I'm descended from came from Switzerland in 1727. Hope this helps a little bit.

Emma Barbara was my Great Grandaunt. Jacob C Zuck - Emma's brother was my great grandfather. Which Norton child was your mother/father? Could you send copies of your info? I'm happy to share any info I have that may help you.

Jacob C Zuck was my great grandfather. His son John N Zuck was my Grandfather & his son Robert Nicholas Zuck is my Dad.

I'm one of your cousins. My grandmother, Barbara Emma Zuck was the youngest child of Phillip and Barbara Zuck and the only giirl who survived. Two other daughters died in Germany before the crossing. They lived in Dansville, NY (and Rochester) where I posted a query and got much information from a German also seeking information. He sent it to me, mostly n German, but with some translations. If you want it, send me an email address. I'll scan it and send you the PDF file. I'm in Texas at the moment visiting my family, but will return to NY in about 2 weeks.

Parents of Emma Zuck Maddox are Hiram and Amanda Sutton Zuck. Hiram is the son of Hezekiah Zuck and Elizabeth Woodring (Wotring)of Van Buren, Grant, Indiana. Emma's had twin brother's Roscoe and Leroy, and many other half-siblings. They eventually went to Oklahoma.

Dinah's parents are John Zuck and Anna Van Gundy. They are buried in Marion Co.
John's parents are Yost Zug and Christina Long.
Dinah's brother Joseph is my GGGgrandfather.

Otto was a cousin of my grandfather, George Alvin Zuck from Pittsburgh's North Side. My father said that Otto used to come down and stay with them every once in a while.

I had heard about Otto and Norman from my grandfather. Unfortunately I don't know much else. My grandfather's grandfather, Johannes, came to the states in 1850, from Baden-Baden.

Walter and Myrtle are buried along with other Hough family members in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Dorsey Ave, Morgantown, Monongalia County, WV. You may have already checked but perhaps her papers are in Monongalia Co, WV.

Hello, I am trying to find what I believe is a family or Holbrook history that she wrote. She discusses Holbrook Sheriff Frank Wattron whom I am trying to chase down. Her husband- Dr. Walter Hough is quite a famous anthropolgist/archaeologist and had to know Wattron.. If you know anything about this please contact me here at U. Texas.... According to 'James Dougall of Glasgow and his descendants... by Richardson Dougall, she was born at Du Quoin, IL, 12 March 1874 and died at Olney, MD, 31 Jan. 1952. There is a full page on her father, Francis Marion Zuck, in 'Portrait and biographical record of Arizona (1901, pp 661-662.) A notice in the Phoenix Weekly Herald, 2 Jan. 1897 says "Miss myrtle Zuck arrived on last night's train from Holbrook on her way to Tucson, where she will engage in the teaching of botany in the Territorial University...

I am looking for information on Anna Eva Zuck . She married David Bachman. She was born in 1769 and he was born in 1768
They had a son John Baughman of littlestown PA. I assume the name change from Bachman to Baughman occured sometime around then.
SOme places have the spelling of her last name Zuck but one place I found her name spelled VUch. Thank You

I was interested in your post, and though it's a long shot, I thought I'd ask a couple of questions. ;)

I am connected to Elmire "Allie" Zuck who married Joseph E. Hunt in White Co., IL on Jan. 14, 1875. They named their son Asa Staley Hunt (born. July 1881, White Co., Carmi, IL)

I am curious if the name "Staley" came from a family name on Elmire Zuck's side of the family. I've researched the Hunt side and so far no luck finding this name anywhere in the line, however, I've only got back to 1818.

Have you come across any "Hunt's" in your family line? Also, I found a small boy with the last name of "Puckett" listed with this Hunt/Zuck family in the 1880 White Co., IL census. I have no idea how he would be connected. Have you come across any Pucketts in your research?

Mrs. Myrtle Zuck Hough of Northern AZ

Looking for info on Myrtle Zuck who married a Hough. She is honored through the Genus name of a southwestern shrub, Zuckia brandegeei. She lived in Northern Arizona, probably Holbrook. I don't have a birth date, but she may have been born ca. 1870-1880. I believe that she was the author of a paper titled "Plant Names of the Southwestern United States" that was published between 1897-1901. I am not related to her but I am interested in learning about her.

We may have a connection. I have an Amanda M. Zuck, age 9, with my family in White Co., IL in the 1860 census. In 1870 & 1880 census Amanda M. is no longer with this family.

My gg-grandmother was Elmire Zuck (b. 1853, OH; d. August 23, 1887, IL) Her parents were Abraham Zuck & Priscilla Foster Zuck.

There was a William Zuck and Margaret Bricker who married in Canton Illinois on 9-8-1868. Margaret is a relative of mine but I haven't been able to find out what happened to them. In the 1870 census, they are not in Fulton County. In fact, there are no Zuck's in Fulton County in 1870.

Children were Mary Elizabeth Zuck (1878-1976) whe was married to Henry H. Ohrenberger.

I am looking for information on my ggrandmother Emma May Zuck. Per census records, she was born in Indiana around 1884 to parents who were both born in Indiana. She may have had a set of twin sisters. She married Levi P. Maddox on 12/24/1902 in Grant County, Indiana. They moved to Borger, TX in 1920's and remained there until their deaths. I am looking for the names of her parents and their ancestors.
