I have an extensive data base on this family. It includes many spelling variations of the surname. My first Belflower anceator is in 1745 in NC but there was a Belflower family in MA in 1633 but the name died out. Am seeking any information on Belflower/Bellflower/Belflour/Balfour/Bailflower/Bellflowers/Bulflower/etc. Believe that they are all the same.

Dear Sir,

I know of a Stephen Belflower of Minnesota. You may want to extend your search to include that area.

Harry I'm also trying to find out about my family the Bellflower's, my great grandfather was Charles Bellflower,Born August 1,1887,Died June 1969, he married Susan Miley, Born May 27, 1881, Died May 1974. Charles lived in Forston, Ga.He as I'm told killed a man and changed his name to Charlie Wyatt, if true I really don't know. He had a son Willie K. Wyatt, which is my grandfather, but found out before my grandfather died that Charles wasn't his real father but that a man, by the name of Willie, or John Rice was. So as you see my family is not sure who our ancestiers are.If you or anyone who reads this has any information on Charles Bellflower, I would be greatful.

Sandra,

My BELFLOWER/BELLFLOWER family came from Georgia to Florida in 1860. They lived in Hamilton County and Lafayette counties until about 1920 when most migrated to Desoto County and elsewhere in Florida.
My g-grandfather was ROBERT RELFORD BELLFLOWER. One son GEORGE DUNCAN BELFLOWER was my grandfather. I have a good deal of information on this family.
If you will send some name hopefully I can find them in my family.

There are several families of Belflowers that live in the Oklahoma City area. My mother was a Belflower. I have several uncles still living that are Belflowers. There was a family reunion of Belflowers a few years ago, and I'm sure one of my uncles can provide information as to the history of our family. It was very exciting to even see picture of familys of Belflowers. Contact me if you want further information.
My grandfather's name was Sid Belflower and he had several brothers and sisters. Hope the Oklahoma Belflowers can assist someone if finding some of your history or loved ones.

I can't remember where I found this Info. A Galloway married a Belflower lady in Scotland, had several children and each of thier middle names were Belflower. My gg Grandfather James Galloway died in the early 1830,s in Cavan twp. Durham Co. Ont. Can. His Widow was a Jane Balflow (Hall) Galloway, both born in Scotland. Does any of this ring a bell.
