I found a few pages with Guiseppe and Salvatore Cammarano online during one of my searches. I'm not quite sure if there is any relation but I would imagine that paths connect somewhere.

My family lived in Mount Kisco, New York. My grandfather, Philip Camarano -- I don't know the real spelling,
it changed many times -- had a son whose name was Frank Camarano. The family lived in Westchester County. Philip came from Italy late 1800' -- had a brother Tony.

My grandfather's name was Philip Camarano -- Cammarano -- the exact spelling changed and I am not sure of the correct name or whatever was listed when he came from Italy to NY in late 1800's.
The family settled in Westchester County, NY and he had a brother Tony whose family still lives in the Yonkers or Westchester area. Philip had a son, Fran, two daughters, Sue and Carmille. I am searching for all information possible. I know he married my grandmother in the States, her name was Maria Ciaria Gatto. Again, I am not sure of the spelling.

Responding to Frank's message. Another Cammarano. My Great, Great Grandparents came from Italy, but they were orphans and no one knows anything past that. Most of my family is in New Jersey now.

Maria, My mother is a Cammarano, her father is James Vincent Cammarano, her grandfather is Nicholas born on the 31 of December 1861, Ceraso Italy. I think we might be cousins, what do you think? This is the first time I have found anyone else doing genealogy on the Cammarano line. It's great.
