She was born in 1881. Her father was Joseph Dina and her mother was Concetta. Maybe there is a link. JHydeO@aol.com

I have reason to believe that my family may be related to the Dina's that you know. Samuel Dina, my great grandfather, was born in Illinois and is of Italian origin. His son was francis david dina who was born on nov. 10th 1908. And had a daughter frances dina by a different wife. Samuels first wife was jeanette m. Dina. I am looking for as much information possible about the dinas so please e mail me if u have any information.

My grandfather was Andrew John Dina. He was born in Palermo, Sicily. He settled in Brooklyn, NY. He married Catharine Piarino. They had 10 children, five of whom survived and had children of their own: Genevieve, Marie, Grace, Edward, Catherine, and Andrew, Jr. Andrew Jr. was my father.

As a child I do remember going to Pennsylvania to visit relatives. They lived in an area that had marble steps on the front of row houses. The women would all wash those steps every Sunday morning!

I am trying to complete a geneology and most of those who would know are no longer with us.
