My maternal grandfather - Felice Police - had a
mother named Saveria Gaudio. I do not have any dates for her birth
or death. I do know that her son was born in Longobardi, Cosenza which
is in Calabria.
Felice lived in North Braddock, Pennsylvania until his death.
He married a Rosina and then a Vicenzina Giuliano.
If you have any more info about your family, I would love to hear about any
possible Calabria info. because the fact that you mentioned Beaver Falls heightened my
interests.
Thank you very much.

My Grandfather, Pasquale, came to the US in 1905 with his brother, Pietro. Pasquale had 13 children. Pietro had 8. They had 3 other sisters. Carolina, Josephine and Rosaria.
Rosaria lived here in the US for a time before returning to Italy. However, she returned to Italy. Her married name was Mandarino. Her son Luigi remained here in the states and lived in Pennsylvania.
The bulk of my grandfathers family lives back in northern West Virgina. A few of us have moved away from the area, including myself. If you can help please e-mail me at Gaudiotree@aol.com.
I have excel files with a breakdown of the family. If necessary I can send them to you.

My Family came to the U.S in 1905 from Calabria. The fact that you mentioned Beaver Falls is why I'm writing. They settled in Western Pennsylvania in Monessen. Which I think is not too far away. My grandfather used to tell my father that we had family all over western PA. Those 2 things are heightening my curiosity and making me write. Unfortunately he's passed on and I cannot ask him who we are related to.
I do know that there is a big hole in this family tree and I'd love to fill it.
My Grandfather was Pasquale Gaudio
Greatuncle was Pietro Gaudio
Great Aunt Rosaria Gaudio
Great Aunt Carolina Gaudio
Great Aunt Guiseppe (spelling)? Gaudio
Great Grandfather was Antonio Gaudio.
Get back to me and I'll send you the files of what I have.

Thank You

Anthony,
My name is Ted Williams. I was recently randomly surfing the net and came upon the ancestry.com web page. Curious, I started looking up my grandfather's name, Frank Gaudio. I then came across your post on the Gaudio message board and became even more curious when you mentioned western PA and West Virginia. I grew up in a small town in West Virginia called Wellsburg. Gaudio is a very common name in that town and another bordering it named Follansbee, both of which are about 45 minutes southwest of Pittsburgh, Pa. My grandfather came from a very large family and while I was not all that close to his side of the family, I could get most of there names if you are interested. Maybe some of the names would cross to your list. I am anxious to hear from you.

Hi Ted,

are you stationed out here in San Diego? Where exactly are you located these days? It would be nice to get together and swap stories about your grandfather , my uncle.
