I am searching for info on the parents of Edward Leo Hopps.

Edward Leo was born 5/5/1892, married Sarah Ann Barnes on 11/11/1911. Edward and Sarah had (2) children; John Edward and Elizabeth Jane.

Edward Leo's parents were George Edward Hopps and Etta Jane Parker.

George Edward Hopps was born 9/04/1868 in Eugenia Falls, Ontario, Canada. He married Etta Jane Parker (born 7/24/1868, died 1919) in 1888 in Kingston, Michigan.

George Edward and Etta Jane had three children: Edward Leo, Floyd William, and James Clare.

Interested to find family of Richard Hopps, born in the US approx 1834. Death certif. says he was a resident of NY (Brooklyn) all his life. Married Mary Jane Lewis. Children were Thomas (b. Jan. 31, 1871-d Nov 24. 1894) George (b.Oct. 29, 1873-died Nov.18, 1918) Mary Jane (Bischoff) (b. Jan 31, 1876-d. April 19, 1917) Ida(Hall)(Goodwin)(b.Feb.22, 1878-d. Aug. 31, 1923).

Probably no connection (migration from NY state to Canada is possible). The oldest Hopps I can trace in my family is George Edward. Born in 1868 in Eugenia Falls, Ontario. Married Etta Jane Parker in 1929 in Kingston, Michigan.
