Anyone have information on Adam Pore B:1718 & D:April 06,1882, his wife Anna Margaret Lobinger B:1803 & D:16,April 1881. Their children names are 1.Franklin A. 2.Anna Margaret 3.Mary Elizabeth(Shupe) 4.Henrietta(Titus)5.Jacob L. 6.Augustus G. Lived in the Smithton,Pa. area.

I wonder could your Adam Pore be any relation to a Sally Ann Pore from the Pennsylvania area. She married a man by the name of Cyrus L. Jamison. If you could help me at all, I would really appreciate it!! Thanks!

My grandmother was Margaret T. (Hartzell-Pore) Voss b. 28 Feb 1899 and d. 2001. Her father was Joseph Pore b. 19 Apr 1845, d. 1 Dec 1898 m. to Lydia Ann Hartzell. Joseph's father was Adam Pore b. 27 Jan 1798 and d. 6 Apr 1882 m. Margaret Lobingier b. 17 May 1802 and d. 16 Apr 1881. I have their parents information as well if you would like it, also. The Voss family was from Mt. Pleasant Westmoreland County, PA

Adam was a farmer of South Huntington Twp., Westmoreland County, PA. The 1880 census lists Adam as 82 years old. Correct spelling of his wife's maiden name is Lobengier, daughter of Christopher Lobengier III b. 11 Aug 1770/d. 22 Jan 1850 and m. 18 Jun 1799 Maria Kuntz b. 26 Oct 1777/d.17 Mar 1836. Adam and Margaret had 13 children:

Working on the Pore family - I have Sarah "Sally" Ann Pore, born 8 May, 1837 Westmoreland Co., Pa. married Cyrus Latimer Jamison on 10 Dec., 1858. Cyrus born 1834 Pa., died 27 Apr., 1867, Civil War veteran; Cyrus was son of William Gaff Jamison and Elizabeth Workman.

Sarah "Sally" Pore Jamison was still living in 1880. She was daughter of George Pore 1802-1859 and Elizabeth Moyer 1803-1886.

John Jacob Moyer Pore 1827-1907
Lucinda Caterina Pore 1832 -
Maria Christena Pore 1834 -
Sarah "Sally" Ann Pore 1837 - aft 1880
Elizabeth Ann Pore 1839 - 1872

George Pore 1802-1859 was son of Johannes George Pore 1770-1839 and Mary Elizabeth Sandels 1775 - 1850.

Do you know anything about Oliver and Rose Pore.They lived in Ohio. Had son named Leslie Parker Pore.Played the piano on several different Cruise Ships.Their family members lived into their 100 yrs.plus. Thanks, Bill
