My mothers name was Katherine Sekul, she was married to my Dad a Filipino man in the 1920's, she left him when I was 3 years old, taking me with her, around 1934, but my father went and got me back. He never did tell us much about our mother, just that her family where from another country. I know she later married another Filipino man because in 1953/54 my uncle told me she was living in the Geneva Projects so I went to see her. Her husband opened the doorhe knew who I was when I said I had come to see Katherine. He called for her saying someone had come to see her she came through and was very upset to see me. She said her other children knew nothing about me and my brother and she didn't know what to do.I said she did not have to do anything as I would go away and not bother her again, I just came to see what my motherlooked like. I would love to meet my other siblings.
