Dear Margaret,
I dont know if it is the same person, but through my research i found a Grover C. Widener, born January 18, 1892. His parents are William D. and Eliza J. S. Widener.
It states that Grover married Bertie Heath, daughter of Thomas and Mollie Heath.
This research was found through the Washington Co., Va birth records.
If you feel this is the person you are seeking, please let me know, i have the rest of the ancestor links to Grover, but i havent found any children under him...so if you have any helpful information please contact me...
Thanks,
Amy Jenkins

I have a Grover C. Widener in my records. He lived in Pa. ,and had 13 children. He was married to Bertie Heath. He was born 01-18-1892. Parents were William Davis Widener and Fronie J. Widener McCormack, a widow. I can take you all the way back to the 1700's if this is your Grover C. It looks like we are kin, because that is my line also. William Davis was my the son of my Ggrand aunt. Hope i've helped. contact me at va21stcav@aol.com. As a matter of fact, my aol name stands for 21 st Virginia cavalry, during the War of Northern Aggression. My GGgrandfathers unit. His Daughter was William Davis' mother.
