Hi David,

My great grandfather Malcolm McRoberts married an Elizabeth Wintersgill. Elizabeth died in the 1940's in Florida. They last lived in Gulfport, FL prior to my grandfather's death in 1915. I understand the Wintersgill I'm connected with were originally from Ohio and migrated from England. You can find Elizabeth in the 1880 census of Allegheny City (The Northside of Pittsburgh,PA). I believe another Wintersgill is living with them at the time.

Hi Elaine,

My great-grandfather Malcolm McRoberts married an Elizabeth Wintersgill. They lived on the North side of Pittsburgh, PA in 1880 eventually moving to Gulfport, Florida before my great grandfather died in 1915. I'm told the Wintersgill family I'm connected to were from Ohio and migrated from England.

Hi Elaine,

No, I'm sorry I'm not familiar with that area of England. I will keep this information in mind as I search out my roots. Thanks for replying to my e-mail.
