Surnames: Thoel Sather Nikielski
Looking to connect with some of my grandmother's sister's decendants for information and/or photos. They were all born in the early 1900s
Johnny, Helen, Eddy, and Charlie Thoel, father's name unknown AND
Sally Sather, Father's name unknown. Their mother's name was Anna Nikielski or Nichols. In 1930 she married for a third time to a Johnson.
All the daughters of Anna could have been married, I don't know.

Hello, My mother, maiden name Arlene Thoel, was born in Oaklawn, Il a south suburb of Chicago. My grandfather, William Thoel(Bill) was born in Chicago, Il around 1912. His mother was Irish and his father was of some sort of German desent which we were never permitted to talk about. One of my cousins went to Germany and discovered that many of the Thoels were of Jewish ancestry and tool makers. Since the rest of my family is Irish Catholic, this may be why we were told not to speak of it. But he was my favorite grandfather, an artist, musician, very funny, and could fix anything. He was a great man.
