I am searching for info on the Dickson's, namely James Dickson who married Mary Ann Turner. He was a baker at Huntingtower, Perth. They had a large family. Their son John Dickson came to Australia in 1853. A daughter Rebekah married John Colvin. John was born 19th October 1827. Rebekah was born April 11th 1829. I am also looking for the family name of Keir. This name has been continued down the family branches in Australia and I am looking for an origin.
Any information on these families would be most appreciated. Please post to the list or email me direct.

Lyn, I know very little about the Keir family that I have been trying to research.. I would be grateful for any information you would like to share.. I have no official records on how the Keir family is related to us, but know it's been a family name for over one hundred and fifty years. Please contact me again with any details you have on your families origin in Scotland.
