I am trying to locate any information on John Jury, born about 1830 Devon, Bidford, England m. Elizabeth Doyle born about 1830. These are my second great-grandparents. Their Son, Alfred Harry Jury, is my great-grandfather. He was born April 1850 Drummondville, Quebec, Canada. Can anybody help me with this?

The place name is Bideford. Cannot trace any baptism, do you know when he left England. Cannot find anyone on the 1841 census, in Bideford, but there is one in Torrington, about 7 miles away. Did Elizabeth Doyle also start life in UK, or was she born in Canada.

This is for the only information I have. it was given to me by a distant relative some time ago. I have found reference to a John Jury as well in Torrington. However, the father name is different as well as the mother's name. I do not know when either one left England. I do not know if Elizabeth Doyle was born in the UK or Canada. I may even have the wrong John Jury. This is the problem that I am having.
