When was she born? When were they married?

Odie Weeks (sometimes spelled Oda) was born abt 1882 and married Willian Henry Ryals abt 1901. Their oldest daughter Annie Lucy Ryals married Cliff Foy Whatley abt 1917 and her youngest daughter is Opal Whatley (Zurek). She lives in (Gold River) Sacramento, California and is assisting with this reply. We have info to share and welcome info you may have emailed to opalzurek@sbcglobal.net.

Odie Weeks Ryals was my Great-grandmother. Her eldest son, J B, was my grandfather. She died in Dothan in 1965 and I can remember visiting her when I was a child. I haven't been able to find out anything about her before her marriage and would be greatful for any information you would be willing to share. Many thanks.

Mrs Ryals Honored at Birthday Dinner
A birthday dinner honoring Mrs Odie Ryals was given Sunday at the home of Mr sand Mrs George Mercer.
Attending the celebration were Mr and Mrs Carl Whiddon and children, and Mr and Mrs J B Ryals and family of Headland, Mr and Mrs Allen stephenson and daughter, Mr and Mrs Ben Whiddon, Captain J E Olsen and daughter, Mr and Mrs George Mercer and daughter, Dorothy, Henry Beasley. Mrs Walter Ryals and Joe Mercer, all of Dothan.

I found this on familysearch.org - this may be a different spelling of Weeks as Wix. Check out the Bridgeman connection which matches the 1900 census in previous message

Here is the family on rootsweb.com but I'm not sure if this is the correct family as Ola is Viola Mar Wix b. Mar 1884 and married to Oce Dismukes. Sorry this doesn't look like a match.
