Looking for information about Lorana (possibly Loraine) Oliver who was born 7 August 1779 (place unknown). She married David Smith (1781-1846) and they had five known children: #1 William (1804-1874). William married Mary Williams; #2 Mary (8 Sept. 1805) married Abraham Baggs. Mary died 7 Dec. 1886. #3 James ((20 Feb. 1807) married Anna Mariah Clevinger. James died 7 Jan. 1871. #4 John (birth date unknown) married Frances Moats. John is thought to have died 1890. #5 Loraina/Lorana (born about 1812) first married Nathan Stockton and later married John "Jack" Thacker. Lorana and her husband David Smith lived in Urbana, Champaign County, Ohio in the early 1800's and migrated to Illinois in 1838. Lorana died 1 April 1846 and is buried beside her husband David in the LaSalle Cemetery, Medina Twp. Peoria County, Illinois
