Surnames: LUTZ
I have two ancestors, John Lutz (d 1894) and Catharine Lutz, his wife (d. 1905) buried in Trinity Lutheran. I have both newspaper obituaries.

I have found several cemeteries by this name, one at "Wolf above 21st" which I cannot find, then several more further away. Does anyone know which of these is most likely the final resting place of a couple who died in South Philly during those years?

Trinity Lutheran Church and Cemetery is at S 18th & Wolf streets on the SW corner. This church was founded in 1844, so this is probably where your ancestors are interred.

Thank you, I have located and visited it. Church records indicate my ancestors are buried there but it seems they do not have a headstone. The cemetery is small enough to be walked in under 1 hour. This will be an easy one to transcribe when I have a day.

There is a Trinity Lutheran Church located at 18th and Wolf sts, South Phila. I know this because I walked by this church and cemetery daily duing my high schol years. Hope this helps. By the way, Wolf St. runs east to west and is between Jackson and Ritner Sts.
