Clifford GRIFFIN, Brand Hall in Shropshire

Surnames: GRIFFIN
Clifforn Griffin Born 1847 (Eng) -Died 1887 (Colorado, USA). He was a son of Alfred Griffin (born 1811) and Elizabeth Fanny (possibly they married 31 March 1834). It appears his family home was Brand Hall in Shropshire. Can anyone give me further information?

Did you get a response to your 2003 Ancestry query about Clifford Griffin? I am investigating the possibility of writing a short article about him for the Colorado (USA) Genealogical Society quarterly. His unique demise touched me when I read about it recently.
