Sempers in Bath and Marylebone

Sempers in Bath and Marylebone

Classification: Query
Surnames: Semper Palmer Harrison
I am looking into the family of my 2 x great-grandmother Ella Semper (1836, Bath) who I believe had brothers William (1831, Bath) and Alfred (1838, Bath) and parents Edward (1800, Bath - A Frank Maker) and Sarah (1801, Bath - A Grocer).
After Edward's death (yet to be determined, but Sarah is shown to be a widow in the 1851 Census...) the family move from Bath to Marylebone.... Ella marrried James Palmer in 1860 and after haviing 5 children, she unfortunately died in 1877.
I would be very interested to hear from anyone with knowledge of this family... especially as I have been unable to find the family in the 1841 Census, with the exception of the Father Edward who is working away from his home in Bath... or wherever wife and children may have been living...
I look forward to any replies in anticipation!

I am also looking for connections with a Semper family but connected with the Ellerby family in Spilsby area of Lincolnshire. I have a family record showing Sempers in North Scarle, Lincolnshire in 1881 Census. There may also be a Sheffield connection.

Hi David
The 1841C for the family is
At 6/6/1841C Cornwell Buildings, Walcot, Bath
Sarah Semper 40 (1797-1801) Grocer Somerset
Mary Semper 15 (1822-26) Somerset
William Semper 7 (1833/4) Somerset
Ella Semper 5 (1835/6) Somerset
Alfred Semper 4 (1836/7) Somerset
NOTE THAT NO EDWARD SEMPER (HUSBAND IS SHOWN) BUT 1841C DOESN'T STATE IF SARAH WIDOW OR NOT. CHECK 1841C FOR EDWARD
As you can see we don't have 1841C for Edward and would love to get that from you (with a jpeg of original if possible.)
We are just starting on Sempers so would love to hear from you re other Sempers
Cheers
