Mrs. George Maher.
On Saturday evening at 8:30 o'clock, p. m., occurred the sad and untimely death of Mrs. George Maher, at her home, 104 West Avenue, aged 25 years. She leaves, beside her husband, three children—Elvin, George and Ida, the youngest being but a few days of age. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Dora Ross, 704 Madison St., and a sister, Mrs. A. J. Hett of Milwaukee.
The funeral occurred Tuesday at 2 o'clock p. m., and Rev. C. H. Williamson officiated.

Use Respirator in Attempt to Save Life

Milwaukee, Sept. 1-—(AP)—"The mechanical lung" was employed today by physicians in attempts to save the life of Elvin Maher, 26, Waukesha, who was rushed to hospital here with an advanced case of infantile paralysis.
Maher became ill three days ago and was treated in a Waukesha hospital. Last night the diseas attacked his lungs and his breathing was difficult, He was brought here and placed in the respirator. Doctors said his condition was improving, but that he was not out of danger.

Thank you so very much Ruth, I really do appreciate you researching my Ross family. Would you happen to know how I might locate Dorothy's death date or obituary. According to her sister's obituary of 10 feb 1932 Dorothy was still living in Waukesha. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
