I have read with interest your 16 Dec 2002 e-mail "Descendants of Anton Pauken" and have focused on my connection with the children of Johan Pauken and Maria Breuer, in particular John Pauken, b 1866 and his wife "Deny Pool." Information in my files indicates that John's wife was Christina Puhl, born December 22, 1864, Maumee, Lucas County, Ohio; died July 07, 1945 Toledo, Lucas County. John and Christina were married 16 June 1892 at St. Joseph's Church, Maumee. Following is Christina's obituary. The obit indicates that she was John's widow.
