This family has resided in Houston, Texas for many years. We have several hundred members in the family. Anyone interested contact the above e-mail address. The brothers were Michael, Dominick, Joseph, Biaggio (Bill), and a sister, Barbara Baglio Latino. The father of these children was Nick Baglio, and Mother, Mary Baglio from Sicily.

To whom it may concern:
I am the grandson of Michele Baglio. You have the spelling of Michele Baglio wrong. He married Giovanni (Annie)Clevisira. This should help you. We have been doing a comprehensive study on this family as well as the Cuccia's. Any questions about the family please contact me. We are about to run off a book on them within the next month. Hope this helps you.

I am Tom Baglio, the grandson of Michael Baglio. Michael came over to the US from Sicily (Palermo). He raised his family in Rochester, New York and had 6 children. I know that he had brothers and sisters that stayed in Sicily. I would like to find out information on them if possible. I now live in Dallas, Texas. I have a brother (Syracuse, NY) and 2 sisters (Dallas, Tx and Toronto, Canada). Would love to find out any information possible about our family history.

Thanks,

Tom Baglio

Hi Tom: My relatives were from Riesi, Sicily and I still have quite a few there. My greatgrandparents were Giovanni Baglio married to Vita LaVerme. My grandfather was Giuseppe Baglio married to Maria Filippa Geraci.They came to US yr.1924. My father was Vincenzo Baglio who came from a family of 8 children. All but 2 migrated to Boston.

Baglio Connection?

Catherine - Baglio - Rindos (View posts)

My Name is Catherine. My grandfather was from Alcamo, Sicily, and his name was Benedetto Baglio and he married Catherine LoMonaco. They together had four sons, Vincenco, Lorenzo, Archangelo and Francesco;
Frank is my father. Benedetto also fathered another (ILLEGITIMATE) Vincenzo who is the oldest of all five sons. Do not know much else about that Vincenzo. Benedetto came here in 1921-22 (or so) and went to work for Ford Motor Company in Detroit, MI - then went back to Sicily to bring his wife Catherine and 4 sons over here. However, they did not make the trip then. Benedetto returned to America alone and returned to work for Ford until approx. 1932/33 when he again went to Italy and this time DID bring his family to America. However, this time they settled in Brooklyn, New York - around Fourth Ave & Carroll Street. My grandfather then became a shoemaker. The sons went into service, married, and so the story goes...HOWEVER, I am trying to find BAGLIOS that live in the Queens area of NY that knew my husband's aunt Catherine Rindos from back in the 40's.
The Rindos Family lived in Manhattan. Any clues about this. It's strange, we know there is a connection between our names from before we were born. Talk about weird...

If there are any baglio's out there that can help me locate a Tom Baglio,who maybe in the east coast I would really like to say hi.
I worked with Tom about 14 years ago when he was working for scm allied paper
This Tom at that time lived in Texas but was from the Rockchester area. He would have a daughter named Samantha that would be around 14 years old.
If any of the Baglio family is out related to the above mention Tom I would appreciate forwarding my information to him.
Thanks in advance for your help.
