I am Dawn Marie Mueller, daughter of Jack Adolf Mueller, Sr. (of Chicago, Illinois) and Beth Helen Weiher (of Ontarioville, Illinois, near Hanover Park and Bartlett).
The father of Jack Adolf Mueller, Sr., was Jackob (Jacob) Mueller, born in Elversberg, Saar, Germany. The father of Jackob Mueller was Adolf Mueller of Elversberg, Saar, Germany. The mother of Jackob Mueller was Johanna Schumacher. Jackob is believed to have had two sisters: Bertha and Johanna. A fourth sibling, a boy, may have died very young or stillborn.
The mother of Jack Adolf Mueller, Sr., was Frieda Marie Nowicki (Novitzky) of Herten, Westfalen (Westphalia), Germany in the Ruhr river valley near Buer-Hassel, which is near Essen. The father of Frieda Marie Nowicki was Johann Nowicki. The mother of Frieda Marie Nowicki was Marie Malecki (Maletzki or Maletzky). It is possible that Frieda Marie Nowicki had an uncle or other close relative named Robert Maletzki, who may have taken a fatherly role to her, as it appears that her own father may have died early.
The Malecki family appears to have migrated from Malschoewen, East Prussia, some time around 1900. Malschoewen was in what is now Poland and has been renamed "Malszewko." Some of the Maletzki family changed their last names to Males or Malten upon naturalizing in the United States. Some Maletzki family members had migrated to Pennsylvania (Butler, PA; St. Michaels, PA; and other localities in the Pittsburgh area) prior to moving to Chicago. Some Malecki//Maletzki/Maletzky/Males/Malten names of which I seek information are August, Augusta, Ewald, Johann, Karl, Robert, Marie, and Mary Pianka.
The father of Beth Helen Weiher is Hugo August Nicolaus Weiher (born in Chicago). Hugo's parents were Edward Weiher (born in Chicago) and Effie Hugo (possibly born in Wheeling Township, Cook County, Illinois). Edward Weiher may have been the son of Frank Weiher, possibly of Pommern, and Caroline Helwig. Frank Weiher may have been the son of Louisa Storm (or Sturm), who also emigrated from Pommern to the U.S. Effie Hugo was the daughter of William Hugo (a farmer in Wheeling Township, Cook County, Illinois).
The mother of Beth Helen Weiher is Ruth-Helen Sommers. Ruth-Helen was the daughter of Arthur Sommers (of Geneseo, Illinois) and Mabel Maud Hartge (of Indiana). Mabel Maud Hartge was an opera singer on the Vaudeville circuit; she performed at least once in Paris. After the death of Arthur Sommers, Mabel remarried and took on the last name of Addington. Mabel was struck and killed by a vehicle in Bartlett, Illinois, as she walked along Lake St. with her daughter, Ruth-Helen.
Hugo August Nicolaus Weiher and Ruth-Helen Weiher geb. Sommers lived in Bartlett, Illinois and in Ontarioville, Illinois. They both died after retiring to Deming, New Mexico. Their children were Arthur, Kenneth Charles "K.C.", Alice Lorraine and my mother, Beth Helen.
My half-sister is Jade Mueller (deceased), who was the daughter of Jack Adolf Mueller, Sr., and his first wife, Eleanor Wuehrmann (deceased). My half-brother is Carl Jack Mueller, also of Jack Adolf Mueller, Sr., and Eleanor Wuehrmann. Eleanor Wuehrmann was the daughter of Karl Wuehrmann, who was likely from the area of Bremen, Germany. It is possible that maiden name of Eleanor's mother was Ilmberger.
My full brothers are Michael Jack Mueller and Jack Adolf Mueller, Jr.
I currently reside in Illinois. I seek information on WEIHER HELWIG HUGO HARTGE SOMMERS MULLER MUELLER NOWICKI NOVITZKY MALECKI MALETZKY MALES MALTEN PIANKA WUEHRMANN ILMBERGER as may have connections to Chicago, Pennsylvania, California, Michigan, Florida and Germany & Prussia.
