I am searching for info about my paternal grandmother Elizabeth Ann Tatham, nee Blackett. Her dob: August 15, 1890. Her father was Thomas Blackett who supposedly died in a coal mine accident in Evenwood, Durham about 1902/03. Her mother's name was Meggie Ann - maiden name unknown. Grandmother, her mother and some siblings sailed aboard the Carpathia to New York in 1903. Sibling's names unknown. She married Charles E. Tatham in Scammon, Kansas on March 10, 1907. Died November 7, 1943. Any assistance will be appreciated.

Hi there,
I have an Elizabeth Blackett born 1890 in Bishop Auckland Co Durham - daughter of Thomas Blackett b.1850 and Margaret Ann (surname unknown) b. 1853? Possibly your Meggie Ann? Elizabeth had several brothers. Sadly I know little more about what happened to her but I do have a tree going back from Thomas, if you are interested? Regards Linda
