Hi, my name is Josefina Villarreal by marriage but my maiden name is Espitia. I was born in Brownsville TX. All I know is that my fathers name was Hermilo Manuel Espitia and his mother was Josefina Vicenta Villegas de Espitia and my Grandfather was Odilon Espitia. They where form Cortazar Celaya Guanajuato. They moved to Tamaulipas when my father was a child. To an area called Valle Hermoso, where they settle in a ranch called it Rancho Cortazar de Valle Hermoso. Unfortunately they have passed on. Some one had mentioned that Espitia could even be Italian. If you have any info. please reply.
