A search of the following indexes finds: Death Records 1882 - 1920 none found; Birth Records 1882 - 1920, none found; D.A.R. cemetery records, none found; Marriage Records 1850 - 1920 except for Charles and Ida, none found. The marriage record shows Charles and Ida married Dec. 24, 1884. The Supplemental Marriage Record shows Charles was age 23, lived in Quincy, born in Kentucky and the son of W.H.Maxwell and Cyntha R. Maxwell and that it was his first marriage. Ida lived in Quincy age 17 and the daughter of Harrison Beaman and Sarah Beaman and her first marriage.
I suggest you send an inquiry to the Owen County Historical and Genealogical Society and have them place it in their quarterly. The quarterly goes to 400 members and an additional 100 are sent to interested persons and libraries. The inquiry will also be placed in the local newspaper's genealogy column. OCHGS P.O. Box 569 Spencer, IN 47460. The genealogical collection housed in the library contains some 1800 family files and much data. Also I suggest SASE. If you do so, advise them of the above so they do not redo the research.
