Sorry that this is a County wide query, but that is all the information that I have.

Looking for Wormer or Van Wormer settlers in Lorain Co., OH . They arrived there in 1823. Lawrence Wormer b. abt 1753 probably in Lee, MA. Keshe Houck was his wife. They had 9 children, but I don't know if they also moved to OH from Lee, MA. Looking for a family Bible or other references.

Thanks for your help.

Sincerely, Joan Day Raymont

Thank you, J, for the information........I'm sure, regardless of the spelling different, that these are the Wormer's that I am looking for. I had some of the same information on them.

Where were they located ? Were the 8 children of Jeremiah & Keshe (Geesje) Wormer in Lorain Co. ?

Reason for my research: Jeremiah Wormer had a brother Aaron Wormer of whom I am a descendent. Aaron's daughter was Electa Wormer (husband, John Day). John & Electa Wormer Day were my Great, Great, Great Grandparents. I need more information on John Day. I believe that perhaps John's father was John Day Gouch of the Rev. War and that he dropped the Gouch (last name). I believe he also would then have been of Dutch descent.
Any thoughts on that ?
