The Kieronski family always lived right next door to my ancestors in Gromnik until sometime in the early 1900s.

Hi...While surfing I saw your message. My mother was
Ludwika Kieronska who was born in Gromnik and came to
the U.S. in 1920. I still have cousins in Gromnik and visited
them in 1998. One of them is Stanislaw Kieronski who still
lives on Ul. Pogorze in Gromnik. My mothers brothers were
Wojciech, Michal Kieronski and she had a sister Milka.
Wojciech had a daughter Maria who married a Lazarczyk.

Just wondering whether your ancestors, as you say, lived
in the area of Pogorze ?

Thank you for your reply...

John

The Kieronski families and the Slowik families lived right next door to each other in the 1700s and 1800s in Gromnik. I have a nephew named Andrzej Kieronski, son of Michalina Kieronski, who showed me the area in which they all lived. I have visited with them for each of the past four years. Also, I have visited the tiny village of Gromnik on those occasions, although my family lives in Tarnow now. Both families are very close to each historically.
