NEISH in N.E. Scotland

Surnames: NEISH
I'm currently researching all NEISHs with a connection to N.E. Scotland (Aberdeenshire, Banffshire, Morayshire, Nairnshire, Kincardineshire or Grampian Region).
I believe they are all related and I've already established a large tree and many smaller but as yet unconnected fragments. I'd be delighted to hear from anyone with any information whether ancient or modern.

I have done some work on a NEISH link in Alvay & King Edward, Aberdeen (1800 - 1898). My interest is in JOASS & then RITCHIE, so Neish isnt a direct link, because the Neish married into the family tree.

If anyone wants a listing of the NEISH work then I will send it out to them.

Interesting that you are searching for families of Neish and Ritchie. My grandfather was James Ritchie Neish (I am assuming the Ritchie is a family name somewhere. From what I can find out, they were from the Glasgow Area.
