Seeking any information you might have on the Clark Family. If our records are accurate, Fleming Clark's father was Issac Clark. Issac was born around 1810 and passed between 1842 and 1843.

One of Isaac's brothers was Newton Jasper Clark who was born 8/6/1817 and passed 4/3/1878. Newton Clark is my wife's 2nd Great grandfather and we have quite a bit of information on several of the descendents.

Newton and Isaac's father was William Clark who we believe was born 10/13/1785 and passed 1/6/1856 in Butler County. William lived in Pulaski, Edmonson and Butler Counties.

Some records indicate that William's father was D.F. Clark. We believe this to be Drury Clark. Thanks

I show Isaac Clark born about 1809-10 as his parents were married in 1808. Isaac Clark married first Elizabeth Morris in about 1828. They had at least two children, Presley M. Clark, b 6 Mar 1829 and Elizabeth Clark, b about 1832. Isaac Clark married second, Mrs. Eliza (James) Ferguson 27 Jan 1835, Butler Co., KY. Their children were Fleming James Clark, b 15 Jan 1836, Emaline Clark and Mary C. Clark. After Isaac Clark's death in 1840, Eliza (James) Ferguson-Clark married as her third husband, Drinkard Arbuckle in 1841, Butler Co., KY. I have much James history and little for the Clark side. Roseanna Clark, daughter of Fleming James Clark and Elizabeth Warren, married William Mosby James, my husband's great grandparents. I need help with the Clarks.

Seeking male descendants of Drury CLARK b. bef. 1765 of Pulaski County KY who may be interested in participating in the Clark DNA Project. I have reason to believe Drury was related to Thomas Clark b. 1755, also on Pitman Creek in Pulaski County between 1799-1810.

My brother has entered a Clark DNA project and is one of 3 matches 25/25. Your Drury interest me as I wonder if you know who his father /mother were? I know 2 sons, Joseph and Samuel, of Henry Clark/Willie Nunn moved to Barren County, KY. Henry was from the original Brunswick Co.,VA and had 2 wives and 17 children. His grandson wrote a book about him. He is possibly a brother of our Drury Clark, SC.
If any of this is of use for you please let me know. Mary Joe Clark Ferguson cjuddferguson2Earthlink.net

drury Clark and flora McDonald are the parents of William Clark that married Lavina Willis daughter of Henry Willis and Mary Cochran. The Willis family did not come from SC. This is just a myth! Henry is not related to Lewis Willis and Mary Champe. This has been proven through DNA testing. See Willis project on Family Tree DNA.

Drury Clark is not related to Benjamin Clark. This is also a myth. He was born out of wedlock. See Ball Project on Family Tree DNA. Drury died in Tippecanoe Co. IN
