His maternal Grand mother was Winifred Salina Maud Freeman m Edward Friar.

I have details of parents of both Edward friar & Winifred Freeman, any further information on the 2 families would be great. I think i have traced the freemans a little further back but it does get confusing as i think that there were brothers who had children with same names etc.
I have not managed to get any further back with the Friars.

Any help on this would be helpful.

I have quite a bit on the family now BUT would really like to find details on the 3rd daughter of Winifred Freeman & Edward Friar. Apparently they had a third daughter Christine, who apparently was adopted by a Scottish family Drummond. She married ( Kelly )& lived in Glasgow - had 3 possibly 4 children but then disappeared in the 1960's.

Any details you may have on the above PLUS any thing on the other 2 daughters ( Winifred & Janet ) or Winifred S M Freeman after the divorce from Edward Friar. Would be fantastic.

Was I in touch with you via GenesReunited? Anyhow, I do know a little bit more about Winifred Freeman etc

She remarried Gerrard Biles in 1948 in Birmingham and had another 7 children ( I have their details). Her three daughters with her first husband Edward Friar were as you mentioned. The only info I have on the third daughter Christine is that she was born in Three Bridges Sussex in 1939.
