Hi,
My father was Jonathan Trewick, born 1902 in Northumberland, died 1986. The legend in our family was that one of my ancestors was first mate on a sailing ship and that the family originated in Cornwall. Haven't heard the Viking legend but its fascinating. Do you have any more information?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes
