I too am researching the Youngs from Youngs Point Ontario. Francis Young came there from Ballykinlily, Tipperary, Ireland after the death of his wife Elizabeth Blackall. He died in 1859.
His children were Elizabeth, John, William, Samuel, Honora, Patrick, Francis, Robert and Matthew.
I would be happy to exchange addition info with anyone.

My father always told me we were related to the Young's of Young's Point; He is Kenneth Richard Young, born 1952 to Walter Kenneth Young, born early 1900, who was the son of Andrew Young, son of Ambrose Young; that's all I have. I have no idea if this is true or not, and I am looking for more info on these family members of mine.

I am a descendant of Francis Young. We have a fairly large family tree and still would love to add more.
